Hello! My name is Dana Shaffer and I am excited to be teaching at San Ramon Valley High School this year. I bring to San Ramon High School eight years of teaching English from a private school within the school district and look forward to teaching in a public school setting. I was raised in Santa Cruz and attended University of California Berkeley where I received my undergraduate degree in English. Several years ago I completed my Single Subject Teaching Credential in English and Masters in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix. I currently reside in Danville with my wonderful family: Tom, my husband, Kate (16), Christopher (10), and our family dog, Gracie. I look forward to working with you this year!
