Overview

The San Ramon Valley High School Parent Teacher Student Association has been an active organization at SRVHS since April 13, 1944. Throughout the years, the PTSA has been supporting the education and growth of our high school youth. Membership and participation in your PTSA helps provide funds and volunteer support for many events and programs at SRVHS. In addition, PTSA provides support to legislative efforts on behalf of our high school students.

The SRVHS PTSA works closely with the administration to ensure that the home to school lines of communication remain open. The monthly eLINK and the daily eBulletin are great resources for parents to keep up on what is going on at SRVHS and to learn ways in which to get involved. Also, the Parent Handbook provides valuable information for parents and students.

Various events are coordinated by the PTSA. Our Annual Ski/Snowboard Swap will take place on the first weekend in November. Funds raised from this event will be used to provide grants to SRVHS staff members for classroom needs and to support other PTSA programs. Grad Night is an annual event that is hosted by the Senior parents immediately following the graduation ceremony. This is a safe and sober graduation party for our graduating class. Run for Education is an annual fundraiser which takes place in October. Funds raised by this event are “granted” back to SRVUSD faculty and staff to support student learning within the district.

The SRHVS PTSA meets on the first Thursday of each month in the Career Center. All PTSA members are encouraged to attend and vote on PTSA matters at all association meetings. See the calendar for meeting dates.
