- Building Bridges

Dear Parents of the Class of 2022,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to San Ramon Valley High School, the Home of the Wolves. On behalf of the entire staff, I would like to invite you and your child to participate in our Building Bridges program. This program is designed to make the transition from middle school to high school as successful as possible. The program consists of a series of informational meetings and activities for our incoming 9th graders and their parents. We believe your involvement in this process is critical and ask that you and your child participate fully in all of the steps in the Building Bridges program. These events are listed below.

Dates:     February 20th  (Last name beginning with A - L)

                February 21st (Last name beginning with M - Z)

Times:     6:30 – 8:00 pm (Welcome, Campus Life, and Academic Information)

                8:10 - 8:40 pm (Athletics)

Please make every attempt to attend on your assigned evening. If you are unable to make that date, you are welcome to attend the other evening, but in order to accommodate all parents and students across the two evenings, we have to split the group into halves. Both parents and students will begin the evening in the Commons (Cafeteria) for opening remarks by Principal Krolikowski. Once that has concluded students, along with their parents, will attend one of two sessions: Campus Life (Commons) or Academic information (PAC/Theater). Students will stay with their parents for the entire evening. After the first presentation and a brief break, the groups will move to the other presentation. Booster group information will also be available during the evening.  Following these presentations there is an optional athletics presentation for any parents and students that want to participate in sports at SRVHS.

You will pick up course sign up information in the PAC Lobby before the meeting. Families are asked to begin discussion at home about next year's schedule before the March 9th online registration begins. SRVHS counselors will be visiting Charlotte Wood on March 2nd and Stone Valley on March 7th to begin this work with students.

Campus Life Information - This portion of the evening will showcase the wide range of opportunities for students to make connections at San Ramon Valley High School. It will include an overview of student activities such as leadership, clubs, "ins and outs" of high school life, academic organizations, as well as a panel discussion with students.

Athletic Night (8:10 pm in Commons): Parents and students should plan to attend this orientation to learn more about the athletic opportunities and tryout procedures at SRVHS. As future SRVHS parents, you will find that our primary method of communication is electronic. You will find other important school information on the website as well. Questions regarding athletics can be directed to Athletic Director, Greg Ochs,

The information contained in this letter will help you and your student successfully navigate their freshman year. To that end, you will need to visit our school website often at and look for the "Incoming Freshman News" link to stay informed of upcoming events or changes. Please read it carefully and keep it as a reference guide as there are MANY dates to remember. Please sign up for the parent email bulletins on the bottom right hand side of the website and you will start getting information about upcoming events! There will also be a “class of 2022” tab on the website.

We look forward to working with you and your student as you prepare for this exciting transition to San Ramon Valley High School.

Again, welcome to SRVHS!
