In "Weights" students learn proper weight training techniques and weight room safety. The course is designed for students to improve their overall muscular strength, endurance, and efficiency as well as their cardiovascular fitness in the hope of developing positive life long strength and conditioning habits.

During the semester students will learn a variety of exercises that address and strengthen the following muscle groups of the body.

1. Chest
2. Shoulders
3. Back
4. Arms
5. Legs
6. Abdominals
7. Total Body
