Randy Winn

2004 SRVHS Athletic Hall of Fame

Randy Winn, Class of 1992:

Randy Winn-the name alone says it all. What is more than the name he was given (a great name for an athlete) is the name that Randy has created for himself through his outstanding achievements at every level of play.

Randy, though nominated for his stellar performance as a baseball player, was also quite accomplished as a basketball player as well. Combining the two sports, Randy played four varsity seasons for San Ramon, placed two seasons in the top four at NCS, was named All League two seasons, and set two SRVHS records along the way.

Before graduation, Randy was a 2-year varsity Letterman in baseball and a letter winner in basketball. He was a prime contributor to the ’91 Wolves team capturing their first NSC Championship. In his two year baseball career at San Ramon, Randy compiled a .301 batting average, and set the single season stolen base record in ’92 with 22 stolen bases. Randy is also the current leader in career stolen bases with 36.
