Erin Kellar-Hill - Class of 1999 - Basketball

At SRV, Erin was a four year varsity starter on a team that evolved to be one of San Ramon’s best women’s basketball teams.  In her outstanding season, Erin scored 506 points, averaging 18.1 points per game and led her team to a 22-6 record. Erin earned All-League honors in each of her four seasons, honorable mention as a freshman and 1st team as a sophomore, junior and senior in the EBAL. She recorded 1,481 points during her four years at SRV. Erin was a complete athlete and the emotional leader of a very good SRV team.  Erin made success on and off the basketball floor look easy as she was always out in front of the pack!

She then attended Point Loma University (PLNU) where she was one of the most dominant student-athletes to ever wear the green and gold.  She had a commanding presence the minute she stepped on the floor as a freshman and it would continue over four highly decorated seasons, in which she rewrote the record books.

Erin was voted as an All American in each of her four seasons and set PLNU women’s basketball records for points (2,330) and rebounds (972) in a career.  She was named the Golden State Athletic Conference Player of the Year as a freshman and would earn All-GSAC each year thereafter!

Her 2,330 points scored shattered the previous school record by 548 points!  She also registered the most points in a season (690) and in a game (40) in school history.

Erin also excelled on defense, rebounding and getting her teammates involved.  She ranks 7th in the all-time record books for steals as well as assists and led the team in rebounding each of her four years.

Erin earned her degree in Psychology in 2003 and her Master’s degree in Educational Counseling in 2008. Erin and her husband Arley Hill, live in Pleasanton with two children, Cason (6) and Charley (3).  Erin now works at California High School as a Counselor.
