Careers - Interest/aptitude inventories
(All of these interest tests are available in the Career Center for a fee. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Geahry or Mrs. Mackell in the Career Center.) - The Strong Interest Inventory (SCII) is excellent for students considering occupations that require at least 4 years of college training.
- The College Major Interest Inventory (CMII) provides valid and reliable information about educational interests that specifically address the academic decision making concerns of high school students.
- The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test is given free of charge on our campus by the Armed Services. It combines both aptitude and interest inventory.

Work permits (All students, regardless of age, are required to have a work permit for each job.) Applications for work permits are available in the CAREER CENTER. During summer months, these are available at SRVUSD office, 699 Old Orchard Drive, Danville (off Sycamore Valley Road) Go to Downloads (right) to download a work application. Specialized Schools Catalogs, pamphlets and brochures available in specialized areas of study for fine arts, vocational and technical schools, military, schools for students with physical and/or learning disabilities, study abroad, and summer programs.
