Dress Code Reminder
Dear San Ramon Valley High School Students, Parents, and Staff,
Adhering to our simple rules for student dress will mean students won't miss important class time when they leave to change. In addition, the classroom setting is disrupted when students do not dress appropriately since many students aren't concentrating on their schoolwork.
We will follow progressive discipline for those students who do not comply with a warning, change of clothes, detention, parent notification, and Friday school.
Highlights and Reminders:
Clothing that fails to provide adequate coverage of the body is not permitted including but not limited to:
- See-through fabrics
- Bare midriffs
- Halter tops
- Tube tops and tube dresses
- Backless or strapless dresses
- Tops and dresses completely off one or both shoulders
- Low-cut tops or dresses
- Spaghetti straps or straps less than two fingers in width
- Bathing suits
- Jeans/shorts/skirts that are shorter than finger tip length
