Parents and students, teachers, counselors and all community “family” members
are invited to participate in the Family “Table Talk” Dinner! Speakers and special presentations will offer practical ways to help adults and students employ the assets, build better communication skills, develop a greater sense of connection and stronger relationships!
For many of our students, economic issues and a variety of other stressors in their lives can make them feel adrift and without purpose. Whatever your role as an adult in the lives of young people, you will be able to pick up tips and skills that will be empower you to positively impact and invest in our young people!
Studies show that the more assets a student has in his or her life, the more likely they are to be strong, confident and successful young people. We will learn how to connect specific assets with our students’ passions, empowering and inspiring them to pursue their dreams and accomplish their goals with positive adult and parental support and much less stress!
While the presentation will be geared to middle and high school students, parents with elementary students will also benefit, not only with asset applications, but from the “sneak peek” at transitioning to the “tween” and “teen” years!!
