Grad Night Takedown – June 12, 2010

Our Junior class is responsible for taking down Grad Night 2010 and putting it in storage on Saturday, June 12. If this job is handled well and our supplies are stored in an organized way, it will make our 2011 construction process that much easier. We need volunteers to help with this takedown. We’d like to start at 7:30 and if enough people show up we hope to be done by lunchtime. Snacks will be provided. PLEASE help if you can! We need flatbed trucks as well as able-bodied volunteers. We could use as many parents as possible, especially our dads. The more people that show up, the faster we can get the job done so please encourage your friends to join you! If you are available and/or have access to a truck, please email Lisa Blackwell ([email protected]) and include your name, phone number and/or email address. Thank you!

Grad Night 2011 - Help Choose our Theme!

Planning for Grad Night 2011 starts now! One of the first decisions that need to be made and one that will influence the entire project is selecting a theme for the Grad Night party. It is our goal to settle on a theme as soon as possible so we may begin some of our work over the summer. If you have any ideas you’d like to put forward for consideration, please send them via email to [email protected] Please consider the criteria below that help to decide a successful theme.
  • should be visually interesting, lend itself to creative decoration and have a variety of “sub-themes” for decoration options.
  • should have broad appeal and familiarity to both boys & girls and a wide variety of students.
  • should be appropriate for a safe and sober night for graduates.

Please also click on the Grad Night Theme 2011 Matrix off this page to fill out a matrix describing your ideas for the theme. You can either email it to Lisa Blackwell at [email protected] or mail it to 254 W. Prospect Ave, Danville, CA 94526. Please send your ideas no later than June 12.

The 2011 Grad Night Steering Committee will meet over the summer to review ideas and select a theme. The theme will be announced at the Grad Night Kick-off meeting following Back-to-School Night in September, 2010 (date TBA).
Please plan to join us at the Back-to-School meeting.
