Dear World Geography Students, Welcome to Mrs. Moore’s World History class this 2013 fall semester. I have been working in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District the last three years and love being a part of the great SRVHS teaching staff. As a graduate of SRVHS, I feel as though I truly home. This will be your first foray into the world of Social Studies here at SRVHS, I’m glad we will get to experience this together. This is a one-semester course designed to introduce you to the cultures, geographical features and issues that comprise our world. Units will focus on geographical literacy and location, cultural diversity, demographic analysis, as well as challenges facing planet earth and current events. I’m looking forward to getting to know you throughout this semester. Mrs. Moore
