San Ramon Valley High School

Kimberly Newton
Welcome!

My name is Kim Oliver, and this is my 3rd year at SRVHS. Prior to that I taught in Southern California. I enjoy teaching and I'm very committed to helping my students reach their goals as well as making sure they learn the skills necessary to succeed in college and beyond.

I was born and raised in New York but moved to California for college. I attended CSULB for my undergraduate degree and then National University for my teaching credential where I also received my Master's in Education. I moved to Northern California in January 2012 upon my acceptance of the Math position at San Ramon Valley High School. So far I love it! I love the school, the students, the parents, and the staff! AND I love Math so I hope that I can instill some of that to my students as we work through Math concepts and activities this school year. I got married August 10, 2013 which is why you will see a name discrepancy on a few things: Newton versus Oliver!

Here is my schedule for the 2013-14 school year:

1st period AVID
2nd period Prep
3rd period Geometry
4th period Geometry
5th period Geometry
6th period Geometry

Please see the School Loop link on the SRVHS homepage for any information regarding your student including grades, homework assignments and when quizzes will be.

I am also available for during A period on Monday (or the first day of the school week) and after school on Wednesday until 4:15 for tutoring, catch up or questions.

The best way to contact me is by e-mail at [email protected] or through School Loop.

I look forward to working with each of you!

Sincerely,
Mrs. Oliver
