Welcome! My name is Lisa Fisher and although this is my first year teaching at SRVHS, I am not new to this school. I had two children graduate from SRV, daughter Melissa in 2009 and son Matt in 2012. This is my 6th year teaching and I was previously at Dougherty Valley High School. Teaching is a second career for me. My first was in the computer industry as a programmer and later an analyst. I earned my Masters in Business in early 90's from Johns Hopkins University. After taking time off to raise my kids, I decided to get back to work. I dabbled with web design for a while, but wanted to do something different. After doing some substitute teaching I found I had a passion for high school students. Having always been good at math, I went back to school and earned my teaching certificate and was lucky enough to be hired at Dougherty Valley when they opened the school in 2007. Now, I am thrilled to be working with students at SRVHS...Home of Champions!
