Welcome parents and students!
Hi, my name is Corey Chan and this is my first year teaching at SRVHS. I am teaching Biology (A, 1, 2, 3) and Marine Biology (5) this school year. I have always been drawn to the outdoors and my passion for science, teaching, and learning fuels my classroom. I hope to instill a similar passion for science and the environment in each of my students, along with providing skills to help them succeed far beyond high school.
I grew up in the Bay Area and attended UC Santa Cruz (Go Banana Slugs!) where I received my undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies. I worked as an outdoor environmental educator until I went back to school for my Single Subject Credential at CSU East Bay.
