San Ramon Valley High School

Welcome Class of 2021!

Welcome Class of 2021!
On this page you will find all the information you need as you transition to SRVHS. We will update this section frequently as more information becomes available.

Dear Parents of the Class of 2021,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to San Ramon Valley High School, the Home of the Wolves. On behalf of the entire staff, I would like to invite you and your child to learn more about our Building Bridges program. This program is designed to make the transition from middle school to high school as successful as possible. The program consists of a series of informational meetings and activities for our incoming 9th graders and their parents. We believe your involvement in this process is critical and ask that you and your child participate fully in all of the steps in the Building Bridges program. These events are listed below.

Athletic Night:

Parents and students should plan to attend this orientation to learn more about the athletic opportunities and tryout procedures at SRVHS.
As future SRVHS parents, you will find that our primary method of communication is electronic.

You will find other important school information on the website as well.

AVID info session:

If your student receives an AVID invitation letter (these will be coming out the first week of February), you are invited to an AVID info night, hosted by the AVID teachers and administrator. This meeting will happen from 6:00-6:30 p.m. both nights, in the College and Career Center on February 21 and in the library on February 22. Please come learn more about the program if you have been invited to apply!

The information contained in this letter will help you and your student successfully navigate their freshman year. To that end, you will need to visit our school website often at srvhs.net and look for the "Incoming Freshman News" link to stay informed of upcoming events or changes. Please read it carefully and keep it as a reference guide as there are MANY dates to remember. Please sign up for the parent email bulletins on the bottom right hand side of the website and you will start getting information about upcoming events!

We look forward to working with you and your student as you prepare for this exciting transition to San Ramon Valley High School.

Again, welcome to SRVHS!
Sincerely,

Ruth Steele , Principal SRVHS
