San Ramon Valley Track and Field

Welcome Everyone!

Important announcements:
We appreciate everyone's patience as we held our search for the next Head Coach/Program Coordinator. In keeping with district protocols - as a site we did "move a name forward" as our selection, and now that person is going through the DO portion of the "vetting" process and satisfying the different requirements they require. Once the district is satisfied with everything then they will make the "official offer" of the position and we will be notified. At that time (and not before) we will get the official announcement of who it is out to the community.
The official first day of track is January 28 as it is for all spring sports and that will take place as planned (meet on the track at 3:30). Once the new coach is announced that person will set up a time to "meet and greet" the athletes and parents.
Again, we appreciate your patience and understanding.

Athletic Director

New School Record
Emma Tavella (2019) broke her own school record in the 1600m at the NCS Meet of Champions. Emma ran a terrific race in a time of 4:57.40 finishing in 4th place and just missing a spot to State.

New Top-10 All-Time SRV Records
Four other athletes entered the All-Time Top-10 record books this season:
Amanda Olla (2018) bettered her previous 4th place in the 3200m with a time of 10:52.42
Kai Terrell (2018) became the 8th best shot putter in school history with a throw of 33'3"
Shane Cooke (2018) is now in the 8th spot in the pole vault at 14'4"
Sierra Ransweiller (2020) made the list in the 1600m with 5:13.14 ranking her 10th.

Donations [SRV Web Store]
Donations to the track and field program can now be made through the SRV Web Store
PLEASE consider donating the suggested amount of $275 + $7 (processing fee) for this season.  We hope you will find this a bargain for the experience and healthy benefits your child gains in our program.
